Can I increase my level of cover Online?
It depends on your insurance arrangements. Your policy may allow increases in cover which you can do Online. You will be required to answer health & lifestyle questions and the application will take approx 15 minutes to complete. If you are unsure of cover types available, refer to the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) or contact your fund administrator.
Can I decrease my level of cover Online?
No. To decrease your cover you must contact your fund administrator.
Can I apply for a transfer of existing insurance Online?
Your insurance policy may allow you to transfer your existing insurance cover using our Online transfer process. You will be required to submit a copy of the last annual benefit statement from your previous insurer to support your application for transfer.

How do I determine how much my insurance will cost?

How do I determine how much insurance I need?

Can I cancel my current insurance cover Online?
No. To cancel your current insurance cover you must contact your fund administrator.
What happens once my application is completed Online?
Once the application for insurance is submitted we need to assess your eligibility. This means we need to check you are entitled to the insurance cover requested and you have enough funds in your account to cover the insurance premiums.
What happens if my application is being assessed by the Insurer?
If you have disclosed any information during your Online application that requires further assessment, you will receive;
1) a direct call from the Insurer to confirm your responses or
2) a letter in the post requesting additional information
How long will the Insurer take to complete a review?
All insurance reviews are completed within 24 hours from the time you submit your application. If you have not received correspondence within 3 working days, please contact your fund administrator.
What is the Complete Application by Phone service?
A dedicated insurance specialist will call you directly and walk-you-through the application over the phone.
How does the Complete Application by Phone service work?
You can elect to Complete this Application by Phone Online at any time during your insurance application. You can request a preferred day and time and a Tele-consultant will call you to walk-through your application over the phone.
Income Protection
Can I apply for Income Protection Insurance Online?
Your policy may allow you to apply for Income Protection cover, which can be completed Online.
You will be required to answer health & lifestyle questions and the application will take approx 15 minutes to complete.

Why do you need my salary to determine my Income Protection cover?
Income Protection cover is calculated as a percentage of your current annual salary. The way in which the Insurer determines your annual salary is detailed in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and may include super contributions.
What is a waiting period?
The waiting period is the number of days you must wait before making a claim under your Income Protection policy.
Can I change my waiting period?
Your policy may allow you to change your waiting period if different options are available.
If you decrease the number of waiting days you must be assessed by the Insurer and this can be done Online.
If you increase the number of waiting days, contact your fund administrator to make the changes to your policy.

What is a benefit period?
The benefit period is the length of time you may receive a benefit payment under your Income Protection policy.
Can I change my benefit period?
Your policy may allow you to change your benefit period if different options are available.
If you increase the benefit period you must be assessed by the Insurer and this can be done Online.
If you decrease the benefit period, contact your fund administrator to make the changes to your policy.

Death and TPD
Can I apply for TPD only?
YES
Your policy may allow you to apply for Total & Permanent Disablement cover only which can be done Online.
You will be required to answer health & lifestyle questions and the application will take approx 15 minutes to complete.

NO
No. Your Total & Permanent Disablement cover must be equal to or less than your Death cover.
